- Professional advising experience
- Experience training student academic support employees

Job Specific Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or a related field. – 2-5 years of supervisory experience. – 2-5 years of experience in a student support field (i.e., tutoring/SI/advising).

Percent of total time 70

Perform professional student support duties based on the current staffing needs.

For advising/coaching:
- Provide advising/coaching to current and incoming students.
- Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with faculty and staff to ensure effective exchange of information.
- Oversee the process of academic review and probation (ARC).

For supplemental learning:
-Manage all aspects of tutoring and SI
-Hire, train, and supervise all student academic support staff.

Percent of total time 30

- Serve as an assistant to the Director of the Academic Success Center on a broad range of projects.
- Propose, develop, and implement policies and procedures pertaining to student success.
-Serve on key university committees that deal with student retention and student success initiatives.
- Oversee and represent Academic Success Center in the absence of the Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
