This Lecturer position in Physics is focused on facilitating and improving introductory laboratory experiences for science and engineering students. In our ABET-accredited programs in Applied Physics and Engineering Physics, our curriculum is continually assessed and developed toward better student-focused learning. The successful applicant will have opportunities to work toward more effective teaching and create positive change in a setting of collegial faculty, impacting up to 400 students a year.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years teaching experience;
Experience working on multidisciplinary teams.

Job Specific Required Qualifications

M.S. in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering;
Experience with repair of technical apparatus, including some electronics;
Experience with computer hardware and software for data collection and analysis;
Good communication skills, written and oral;
Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself or other individuals to make improvements or take corrective action;
Must be available to start July 5, 2018 or earlier.
